My name is Janice Singh, though I'm often called Jan. I am currently in my third year at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), pursuing a Bachelor of Design and Interactive Technology with a major in Digital Media and a minor in Film. Alongside my design studies, I have gained valuable experience in programming and business.
I see every project as a chance to forge genuine connections, spark inspiration, and breathe life into characters and concepts through digital media. My professional development includes targeted workshops in digital design, animation, 3D modelling, interactive documentary, film, and business process management. Together, these experiences have shaped my artistic practice, built my confidence and discipline, and helped me cultivate a distinctive creative voice.

Portfolio
Self coded portfolio website. A comprehensive digital space showcasing my work, skills, and creative identity.
Self coded a website that tracks and records your fitness and lifestyle. Helping users build consistent habits and monitor their progress over time.
Used branding concepts and designs for an energy drink under the brand First Foods. Developed the visual identity, packaging, and brand language.
A brand poster design inspired by the fashion icon Coco Chanel. Exploring luxury aesthetics, typographic elegance, and timeless visuals.
A prototype project exploring design and interactive concepts. Developed as part of my studies in Digital Media and Interactive Technology.
Created an advertisement for a travel company named Travel First, with Turkey as the chosen destination. Combining motion, visuals, and storytelling to promote travel through digital media.
Created a handmade poster of my favorite animated piece.
Worked as Production Design and ID Designer on a project based on the Queensland Rail Museum.
Worked across many University projects. A Promotional Video for Vinnies, Music Video, and an Experimental film. Taking on roles in costume management, lighting, and audio, location scouter, props manager and actor.
Made an escape room game using Unreal Engine. Designing the environment, mechanics, and interactive experience from the ground up.
Beyond Work
I'm a 21 year old full time student and a part time sales representative for two different companies. I am an international student from Fiji; however I've spent most of my holidays growing up with my cousins in Sydney, Australia. I am a middle child in a trio of siblings, and we are a family of 5 including my parents.
My passion for digital creative art stems from my family. My father is an IT professional with an incredible ability to understand and fix almost any technology, while my mother has a highly creative mind that always inspired me. This unique blend of technical skill and creativity fascinated me from a young age. My friends, family, and peers describe me as bubbly, authentic, hardworking, ambitious, and a workaholic.
